ABOUT US
The Corry House is named after the Corry family that settled the land in the late 1700's. That same family built the house in 1869, and continues to own the land to this day, ten generations later. The most beautiful part of the property has evolved into a wedding and event venue to service Georgia's Lake Country and the Athens/Augusta area.

Our Venue
The Corry House is proud to offer unlimited parking, privacy, and those beautiful Georgia sunsets. Couples can choose from a number of different locations to say their vows, including a picturesque meadow site and an enchanting forest site (think Edward and Bella's wedding). The party can then move to the air-conditioned barn or to a patio under the stars. The house and carriage house are included for wedding parties to get ready for the big day and can even accommodate eighteen people for an overnight rental.

Your Wedding
After being in the wedding venue business for over ten years, we like to think that we've covered most of your bases - a place to get ready and spend the night, an air-conditioned and covered reception space, photo ops for days. We also like to think that we are affordable enough that you can spend money on a great photographer and yummy food, too! Our prices, include an overnight stay of either one or two nights. The Cabins
Need more beds for guests to spend the night? How does a cabin over-looking the river sound? Our three cabins are perfect for your family, out-of-town guests, or even the bridal party! With two beds each, the cabins offer overnight accommodation for an additional twelve people. They are booked on a first-come basis and cost $185/night/cabin. You can book a cabin using the link below. Feel free to share with your guests! (P.S. - you can rent a cabin for a girls' weekend, too.)

Q: Can I use any caterer I want?
A: Of course! But if you need suggestions, check out our list of recommended vendors.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Sure! But they can't spend the night and have to stay outside of any buildings. Also, we will be needing a picture of them posing in a bow tie.
Q: Should I have my wedding at The Corry House?
A: Girl, yes!
